There are two main differences between the two: (i) minimum share capital amount, which is 10.000 TRY in LLC and 50.000 TRL in JSC, and (ii) shareholder’s liability for unpaid public debts of the company. Incorporation process is the same in both company types, with minor differences in documentation.

Other than the foregoing, the shareholders cannot be held liable for the acts or omissions of the company, unless such an act or omission results from their own acts and has criminal elements.
